Rivers State Overseas Scholarship Program 2013

  
 The Rivers State Sustainable Development Agency (RSSDA) invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for selection into the Governor’s Special Overseas Postgraduate Scholarship Programme for 2013/2014 session.

Number of award(s): Target is to send 300 students overseas annually.


What does it cover? 
Air Fare:
Tuition (School, Lab, Books, etc)
Accommodation (Halls of Residence within the school; Private apartments outside the School)
Feeding
Monthly Upkeep

Selection Criteria:
Minimum of 5 credits including English Language and Mathematics in the WASCE/GCE. NECO not accepted.
Not above the age of 21years. (evidence – birth certificate)
Be a Rivers State indigene – (evidence LGA Letter of Identification)
The Agency has a provision for the physically challenged. Annually they estimated for about 10 students.

Aptitude Test and Interview:
-Shortlisted candidates will be contacted for online aptitude test through SMS, emails and notice posted on RSSDA website.
Original copies of credentials will be sighted during the interview of shortlisted candidates.

How to Apply: Online applications can be completed at www.rssda.org. Application forms can be downloaded from our website. Application forms can also be collected and submitted at our Head Office at No.1 Igbodo Street, Old G.R.A, Port-Harcourt.
